I need an answer from a reflexologist.?

I've been having this severe pain in my arms off and on for over a month but have had my lymph nodes under my arms swell from time to time. What I read was that that meant my body was fighting an infection. Well, the first time the extreme pain came on it reached from one arm to the other and radiated from my to my back. That happened one more time about a week later. I'm in mage therapy school and we've been learning reflexology and lymphatic drainage. Seems like everytime I'm in cl this starts to hurt. I thought maybe it was a muscle issue but now I'm not so sure because now on the top of my feet that represents the lymphs in the chest area are swollen. Should I be checked out by a doctor or just let it work itself out?
