How come I cannot listen to whatever type of music that I liked without being called gay constantly ?

I mean this is getting very ridicolous because I cannot listen to whatever type of music that I want to without being called gay. I get called Gay all the time because I listen to Justin Bieber, when they called me gay they mean the version of the word gay. I'm 17 years old and I'm still in high school and it seems like I cannot have no freedom to listen to whatever I want, I mean this is a free country and we're supposed to listen whatever we want and do whatever we want. These people says they are going to beat me up too, they said that I will never be able to get a girlfriend because I'm so girly. I admit I am a nerd, A computer nerd to be exact but I am no way near girly at all, The only thing different about me is I don't use profanity. I'm a Straight and I'm still single and still holding some hope of finding a girl one day but these people bring my hopes down. How come I can't listen to Justin Bieber without being called Gay constantly ?? Girls, Would you date a guy who listens to Justin Bieber ?
