How to paraphrase?

Romeo is told that he should be grateful that he is only to be banished from Verona for killing Tybalt and not put to death himself. But he thinks banishment is torture because he won't be with Juliet. He says that even cats, dogs, mice and flies can "look on her," but he can't, and compares exile to death.
