The leaves of my newly-planted Plum Krauter Vesuvius are droopy.?

We've had significant rain since it was planted and the drainage in the area is poor at the moment. It was just landscaped and the gr around it hasn't come in yet. The tree fell over at one point and is now staked in place but the root ball must be very wet. Can I do anything to help the tree recover?
