Mother won't believe me about Gynecomastia..?

After telling my mother I think I may have a problem she completely disregards it.. as if I'm just being some teenager worried about nothing. I even showed her my chest! She doesn't think they even look all that bad. I tried talking to her about possibly just going to the plastic surgeons office for a consultation, which she doesn't even think is necessary. I really don't know what to do to get her to realize that this really is an issue when she won't even humor me and go to a consultation to hear what the doctor has to say.. Is there any other way to try to reason with her about this??
