My b/f was sacked so he appealed and they gave him his job back should he get paid for the time he was off?
my b/f was sacked unfairly so he appealed against the decision ( this was not so that he could go back and work for them it was so he could clear his employment history) during the time of appeal he started working somewhere else. He was not taken from the payroll at his old job in this time. at the hearing of the appeal he was reinstated his job and was given a final written warning. he told them he did not want his job back.so his leaving date was the day of the appeal hearing. should he get paid for the time he was off during the appeal? he was contracted.
